Hola!
Just a big 'thank you' to the people that manage to come to Brick lane;
It was a very good weekend filled with interesting stories and anecdotes.
The very first one starts on Saturday when being allocated at the Backyard Market, I got given a stall next to the very famous star, fashion illustrator, artists & now friend Hormazd Narielwalla. He is the one that creates paper collage 3D objects from various bespoke Savile Row suit patterns of deceased customers. When I asked him to tell me more about it he said that the pattern of the deceased customer should be now seen as an Original piece of art because it tells a story.
So if you manage to be on Bricklane next weekend just visit Hormazd at the Backyard Market.

Other stories covered some interesting customers: Charlie's Angels (Three beautiful Texan Girls), Ms Lauren from Malbourne, Rache & Simon (the Vitamin Water and parma ham sandwich saviours!), Laura and her magic blanket, Orne & Marco, Sarah M... and many others that haven't manage to take their names, thank you!
Here are some pictures that my friend Sarah M (Instagram goddess) took :
Bambi Exhibiting at the Burgh's House Art & Craft Fair, Jubilee Weekend

It was a great day for Bambi Designs! Would love to thank everyone, specially my best friend S who drove us there and helped loading and unloading the car.
It all started around 9.00 am. We got given our space at the Library Room. It was very cosy and I got to be next to two outstanding silk designers:
Kagari Arnoldi y Kuniko Bartlett. Around 10.00 am, everything was set so we didn't want out miss out the Buttery Cafe since it is known as one of the best in town. We came back at quarter to eleven to wait to open the doors.
What can I say, everything was perfect. We had great atmosphere, Kate our host was more than welcoming and everyone there had really good energy.
Best Buy: Tarjetas "I love Fashion"
Loved by many: "Goldilocks Sleeping"
Hope to see you all back on my next Fair,
Lots of Love,
Bambi
Missing the blue skies!
This is why I started working on a nude, using some texture!!!
I have recently seen Lucian Freud’s exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery. I am very interested to focus (again) on the human figure because I believe there’s a of beauty in the shapes it can create. I really admire Lucian’s use of material to create texture & volume (such as Ria, Naked Portrait or Benefits Supervisor Sleeping).
Dont miss it!!! LUCIAN ES INCREIBLE SIN PALABRAS!
